Met Life SGVCC Irwindale Parking

This parking structure consists of one on grade and three elevated levels of parking resulting in 644 stalls in the structure. We utilized a long span beam with post- tensioned slab concrete structure for a parking layout that provided clear unobstructed double loaded parking isles. Our design was based on a column grid system of 27’ x 62’ spans.

We encountered a series of underground utilities (wet & dry) which had to be relocated simultaneously with the removal and re-compaction work. The R & R work was difficult in securing finished grades due to the presence of cobblestone with various sizes. With all these challenges, the project was still completed in seven months.
