Scripps College

This project “created land”. An existing soccer field was removed, the subterranean parking structure was installed, and the soccer field re-constructed at grade above. The school accomplished their goal of adding parking while incurring less cost than purchasing new land. Since this was constructed on a college campus, tight operations were required, traffic control had to be precisely managed, and disruption kept to an absolute minimum. The project was completed ahead of schedule.
